Damn and blast. It was meant to be a secret mission, Sophie was meant to distract them by flashing those pretty eyes, and I was going to sneak under the radar, sneak into Marketing and riffle through the bins.
It was all going so well until Richard heard the rustling and found us munching on the walnut whip wrapper - damn his Vulcan hearing.
All in all it's not been a good week for me, on Saturday I crept into the garage as Dad went in to fill up my dog food carton; I like it in the garage, quite frankly it is a mess, but there are so many smells, it is a real treat to visit. Anyhow, I was minding my own business and investigating the corner when BANG, something bit me on the nose. Dad said that it was a mouse trap and that I was lucky not to need it surgically removed. Thankfully I have reactions of super hero and I jumped back in time. Can't imagine what it would be like for my hooter to get damaged and the smelling factory to go offline.
Well, that's my week, nearly bitten on the nose, my girlfriend let me down, and yesterday I had to go to the loo in that snow - as my Dad often says in the cold weather, I am glad that I am not a brass monkey, whatever that means.
So, have a good week, next time you put down a mouse trap think of us canine investigators and put a box on it.

Morning All, Minx here,
Finally we have got a new bed for 'my' office. I have been nagging the 'powers that be' for bloomin ages to get me a new bed fit for a hound with my breeding and pedigree.
My boyfriend Monty, being the thug that he is, decided that he would mutilate the old bed and half of the arms were hanging off - we had to put a blanket over it when visitors came. He was a puppy when he did it, but he still retains thuggish tenancies.
Well, my new bed is rather posh, it is bright red and brown, king-size to allow Monty to lay in it with me rather than laying on top of me as he used to, and it is rather luxurious. It smells all new and fresh but I doubt that the Mobster will keep it like that for long - what do you think?
Love, licks and woofs - Sophie

Hi there fans,
I know, it has been absolutely ages sinces I typed you a note, I have just been soooo busy.
We have all been a bit frantic with lots of suppliers and new clients coming in for meetings. It has been brilliant, but aparantly I am a bit too frisky when people first arrive and my Dad locks me in his office until I calm down.
But the other day I was locked in (with him as he was not in the meeting) and I had a bit of wind, well you know, eating all those mushrooms and grass in the garden has an effect on you you know.
Well, Dad said that I was lethal and talked about a mist floating around the room, I did not get what he meant but as a result he opened the windows and the door to his office; now, this is where I am considering getting in touch with my lawyer, he blocked the entrance with a table - you decide for yourself what you think (see the evidence) which I will be presenting in court - submission, deprivation/restriction of free movement and run time!
Just so you know, I am the tall good looking one, my significant other 'Sophie' can just about see over the top. What Dad didn't know was that I just sat against the 'blockage' and it moved, yeah, strike one for Monty.
Talk soon I hope
Love & wags
Monty

Hi there
The mobster has gone and got up to mischief again.
This time he thinks that he is a shredding machine and has emptied a bin full of paper and started to shred it. Luckily uncle Mike saw him and took it off him or it would have been confetti at dawn, and God knows what would have happened if he had ate it!
Apart from that it has been a quiet day, Dad is still saying how impressed he is that his friend David at Shredmaster destroyed some of his computers and hard drives - he said that they were gobbled up like they were made of tin foil (here's a video of it) - now that is taking Data Protection to a new level.
Take care - Lots of woofs and wags - Sophie
