If you wish to prevent unsolicited faxes you can place your fax number on the FPS register. If you are a sole trader or partnership you are automatically protected without having to register. Automatic Searching is where we take your data and using our own bespoke software routines match it against third party data sets such as the OSIS and Mortascreen files.

The results are automatically incorporated into your data (according to your instructions). Our software can account for a certain amount of differences between the data that you have supplied and that held on the third party file, but if your file contains inaccurate data, or has many spelling errors the match rate will be lower.

Operator or Manual Searching is when an operator physically reviews each record and manually interrogates the third party data. An operator can make allowances for spellings, wrong addresses etc and make a 'judgment call' which the automatic process can not.

Automatic searching is very fast, cost effective and suitable for large volumes of data. Manual Searching is slower and more expensive and is only suitable for low volume projects. We can always combine the two services and perform an automatic search first followed by a manual search.
